So I apologize up front as some may consider this a dumb question, but I have the opportunity to buy either a standard 2019 DCT or a 2018 Adventure Sport manual (within $300 of each other).
Argument for buying the Adv Sport: If I buy the DCT, I would add crash bars and 12v adapter almost right away, adding about $1,000 to the price. So at this point the Adv sport is a much better deal. I drove a dct NT1100 and in Low Speed Situations and in D-Mode the NT1100 was stuttering and the Electronic nearly stalled the engine. The expierience was horrible! So im looking forward to get this Bike next year, but Sharing the same Transmission and Engine with the Africa Twin and the NT1100, i am scared to buy the DCT Version of the Rebel.

The dct is undeniably more convenient any where with even moderate congestion, and quicker off the light. In my opinion the dct allowed me to stay more vigilant and comfortable in traffic by giving me less to think about subsequenty I enjoyed the ride more. The manual is lurchy at slow speeds, with out alot of input to the clutch.
