I haven't played Half Life, 1 or 2, and feel like I have missed out on something big. Is this game still worth buying and playing? Or would I quickly get bored in case the graphics, storytelling, and quality of today's game has far surpassed this mammoth. Absofreakinglutely. It was just half off for $30 on steam, might still be. More than worth it for that price. I haven't played anything else like it. The mechanics are all extremely smooth and well thought out. The movement/locomotion options make it good to play for anyone.
Although Half-Life's graphics are beginning to look a little dated, the gameplay still holds up.
