Spend the money you save on getting the oil analysed every 2-3 changes. My old mk3 petrol had 230k on it when sold and is still going and that was 2 years ago. Always changed at 12.5k and was fine.
I have a 2013 Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi titanium and I have the following problem: I am after oil change. From this oil change, after every first start at the morning (cold engine) approx. 30 seconds later I got yellow "Engine malfunction service now" message and the power is decrease. When I restart the engine, the fault is cease.
